Dr. Jeffrey Dysart, M.D., Family MedicineSenior AME, Federal Aviation Administration, Dr. Dysart graduated from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, Guadalajara, Mexico, in 1978. His internship and residency were completed at the University of California, Los Angeles, and Antelope Valley Hospital Medical Center, Lancaster, California, in Family Medicine. Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Dysart has been providing care to patients from infants to seniors for over 20 years. Dr. Dysart joined Genesee Medical Group in September of 2008 after owning a successful solo practice in San Diego for several years. Dr. Dysart proudly serves the members of Sharp Community Medical Group. He is on staff at Sharp Memorial Hospital, San Diego. Dr. Tam Tran, M.D., Family MedicineSenior AME, Federal Aviation Administration Dr. Tran graduated from St. George’s School of Medicine in Grenada, earning both her Doctorate of Medicine and a Masters in Business Administration, Health Sector Management. She completed her residency at Heritage Valley Health Systems in Pennsylvania. Dr. Tran has extensive experience with primary care services including long-term care and chronic conditions. Dr. Jaafar Al-Dahwi, M.D., Internal MedicineDr. Al-Dahwi completed his medical schooling in Egypt, finishing his residencies in 2010. He moved to the United States and completed his US Internal Medicine residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in New York in 2018. Dr. Al-Dahwi has had extensive primary care experience. Prior to joining Genesee Medical Group, Dr. Al-Dahwi was in Fresno, CA where he served as an Internist for the Veteran’s Administration and an assistant clinical professor for the University of San Francisco. Board certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Al-Dahwi sees patients age 18 years and older. His practice offers a focus on preventive care and management of chronic diseases in adults and geriatrics. He is on staff at Sharp Memorial Hospital and proudly serves the members of Sharp Community Medical Group. Languages: English, Arabic. |

Shannon Davis, FNPShannon Davis, Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, joined our office in May, 2013. Shannon is a highly experienced Family Nurse Practitioner who earned her Master of Science degree from the University of San Diego. She has experience in primary care as well as emergency medicine and pre-anesthesia. Shannon currently serves as President of the San Diego chapter of the California Nurse Practitioner's Association, collaborating to improve healthcare access in our country. Summer Pillsbury, FNPSummer Pillsbury, Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, joined our office in August of 2023. She earned her Master of Science degree from Simmons university, in Boston, Massachusetts. She worked as an RN for 7 years in the Emergency Room, Orthopedic Trauma, and various medical step-down units across the country. Passionate about the outdoors and staying active, she values preventative care for the well-being of her patients. Languages: English |

Lyndsey Brown, FNPLyndsey Brown, Family Nurse Practitioner, joined Genesee Medical Group in August 2023. As a born and raised San Diegan, she has been caring for the local community for the past 14 years. She graduated from Azusa Pacific with her BSN in 2010, and spent the next 13 years working in the Adult Intensive Care Unit as a registered nurse and charge nurse. In 2022 she graduated from Simmons University with her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner degree. With her critical care background, Lyndsey found a love for primary care and preventative health to keep her patients healthy and thriving. Languages: English |
